* Our belly dance Gala is this Saturday!!!!

* All of my costumes are figured out and my skirt is now the right length.

* PJ got me an early birthday present: a Nintendo 3DS!!! I am having so much fun playing Super Mario 3D Land (also another early birthday present).

* I need a new mattress My back and shoulders hurt when I wake up in the morning.

* I think I have been wearing the wrong size shoe for some time now

* Where has the year gone? It seems to be going to fast

* Elaine’s and my birthday are next month!

* Choreography is coming together- excited that Gala is in a few weeks!!!

* Going to try blogging every day in June…TRY being the operative word here haha.

* Playing WoW! Haven’t had much time for it lately so it’s nice when I do get time to play.

* Reading a lot more. I need to more book suggestions so PLEASE send them my way (I am up for anything!!!).

* My sinuses don’t want to leave me alone. Pressures not that bad, but they are still bothering me.

* The weather is being all screwy so that’s not helping.

* I am reading more through Overdrive and actually using my iPad lol.

* Festival was amazing! (still need to blog about it)

* Busy weekend ahead: my mom’s birthday is tomorrow, I’m assisting with a birthday party on Saturday, movie date to see Avengers with PJ’s family on Saturday for his dad’ birthday on Sunday, lunch Sunday for his dad’s birthday.

Hello Saturday, Nov 5 2011

Celebrated a friends birthday today with a get together at his house. It was fun. If you have not played the LCR, go find it and about 5 (you have have however many people you want but it’s fun with a lot) people and play. Instead of the chips, we used 3 one dollar bills. You will have a great time.

It’s my birthday! Friday, Jun 24 2011

So, in case you don’t know, today is MY BIRTHDAY!! There are two things I would like you to do. First, I received news this morning that a friends niece is in a medically induced coma. Please send your prayers to him and his family. They are very much appreciated.

Second, I would like you to tell me your favorite birthday memory. Or birthday anything for that matter. Share with me your birthday greatness!!

Goings on in my life Thursday, Jun 16 2011

I’ve noticed that it has been some time since I’ve written an actual post. So, I thought I would give it a try today.

Life has been stressful lately. In case you do not know, I am a belly dancer. I take dance at a studio in town and am part of a troupe at the studio (Yay Habibi Hips!!!) Well, we have our annual Gala this year. It’s big because not only are we celebrating the awesomeness that is belly dancing, but we are also celebrating 10 years of the studio being open! Everyone dances at the Gala. I am in five numbers (one of them being a Zumba preview). Gala is NEXT Saturday, the 25th, the day AFTER my birthday! Yeah, it’s crunch time. I know that if we get it together and practice our butts off, we can pull this off. I know we will. We have some killer performances. I cannot wait to share them will you all. Hopefully my mom will get awesome pictures and give them too me soon after.

So, my birthday is next Friday. PJ and I are going have dinner somewhere nice. I can’t wait!! This Saturday, we are having my pajamas, potluck and pillow forts party at our apartment to celebrate mine and the roomies birthday (she is ten day older than I am). On the 25th, we are having a huge dinner at a Greek restaurant in town. It’s where we usually go for belly dance things. It’s a lot of fun and we get to dance more. I’ll get to spend my birthday with people I love and get to dance!!

PJ and I celebrated three months yesterday. He surprised me with lots of pictures from the past three months. We both cried. No one has ever done anything like that for me…..ever. I just couldn’t believe he put that all together for me. We had a great dinner and relaxing night catching up on TV. I’m lucky
